Full description

A crunchy mixer lets the owner choose the raw meat separately, but that also means the biscuit cannot be judged as a complete diet on its own. This 2KG recipe is explicitly complementary.

Potato is 25%, oats 23.6%, peas 23.5% and salmon 14.5%. Carrots, apple, poultry fat, flaxseed, fish oil, broccoli, kelp, chicory root and rosemary are also listed. The analysis gives 14% protein, 11.5% fat, 3.4% fibre, 3% ash, 9% moisture and 367 kcal/100 g, with a detailed vitamin and trace-element additive declaration. Moisture is declared at 9%, which helps place the 367 kcal/100 g figure in the context of a dry biscuit mixer.

It must be paired appropriately. Nature’s Menu describe combining these biscuits with raw meat, but the product information does not supply the mixing ratio or a dog-specific amount. Poultry fat is present, so this is not a fish-only recipe despite the salmon name.

Who it's for: raw-feeding owners who want a complementary salmon-and-potato biscuit mixer and will follow the pack directions for balancing the meal.

Why we chose it

The fully declared proportions make the potato, oat, pea and salmon balance transparent. Showing poultry fat as well stops the fish wording from being mistaken for a single-animal formula.
