Feeding a dog meat on its own, without anything alongside it, misses out on the bulk and fibre a mixer is there to provide - which is exactly the gap this kind of product exists to fill, rather than trying to be a complete meal in its own right. Laughing Dog's version is oven baked rather than simply dried, using traditional milling methods on British wheat.

The composition is stated as 100% British wheat, in the form of 100% wholemeal flour, with no added artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Protein sits at 11.5%, fat at 2.2%, crude ash at 4% and crude fibre at 4%, with an energy value of 298 kcal per 100g.
