Full description

Some dogs need a lower-purine diet for medical reasons, and finding a wet food that fits without reading like a prescription list is harder than it should be.

This one is built on white fish at 60%, with rice and potato at 6.3% each and a trace of dried seaweed. It is a complete food rather than a topper, and it comes out at 70 kcal per 100g — notably lighter than a meat-based equivalent.

On the lower-purine claim. Naturediet describe this as suitable for dogs on a lower-purine diet, which matters for conditions like certain bladder stones — but that is a vet's call to make, not a label's. Check with your vet before switching for a medical reason rather than taking the packaging as the whole answer.

Who it's for: owners of dogs who need a gentle, fish-based diet — whether that's a sensitive stomach or a vet-recommended lower-purine diet — and anyone who would rather avoid a heavier meat-based recipe.

Why we chose it

70 kcal per 100g is genuinely light for a wet food, which matters for a dog that needs to eat well without eating heavily. Fish at 60% as the sole named protein keeps the recipe simple, which is exactly what a sensitive stomach usually wants.
