Full description
A dog that scratches more in winter isn't necessarily developing an allergy — dry central heating and less time outdoors can be enough on their own to dry out a coat that was fine all summer.
Natural Vetcare's Dog Skin Oil combines omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids, including GLA, EPA and DHA, aimed at calming sensitive skin and supporting the skin's natural barrier and coat shine. It comes in a 100ml bottle.
- 100ml bottle
- Omega 3, 6 and 9 blend
- Contains GLA, EPA and DHA
- Aimed at calming sensitive skin and reducing scratching
- Aimed at supporting a shiny, resilient coat
On what it won't fix. This is a general skin and coat oil, not a treatment for a specific skin condition — if your dog's scratching is sudden, severe, or comes with redness or hair loss, that's a vet visit rather than something to try an oil on first.
Who it's for: owners of a dog with generally dry or dull skin and coat, particularly through winter, rather than a diagnosed skin condition.

Why we chose it
The three-oil blend (3, 6 and 9) is broader than the plain fish-oil-only products at a similar price, which usually only cover omega-3. It's a small bottle, so it's a low-cost way to see if it makes a visible difference before buying a bigger size.
