Full description

A recipe named after its pasta invites a reasonable assumption about what's actually in the tin, and it's worth checking that assumption before you buy on the name alone.

This is a complete wet food built mainly around beef, with pasta, celery, carrot, cheese and a small amount of tomato powder, oregano and basil added. It's a can rather than a pouch, at 400G.

Beef (60%) is the main ingredient
Pasta makes up 4% of the recipe
Oregano (0.2%) and basil (0.2%) for seasoning
Crude protein 10.2%, crude fat 8.5%, crude ash 2.2%, crude fibre 0.4%, moisture 75%, energy 127 kcal/100g
Complete nutrition for adult dogs
400G tin

On the name: 'Pasta Al Ragu' suggests a pasta dish, but pasta itself is only 4% of the recipe - the tin is beef-led at 60%, with pasta appearing as a minor named ingredient rather than the main event the name implies.

Who it's for: owners who want a beef-based complete wet food with an Italian-style twist, understanding that the pasta reference is mostly on the label rather than in the bowl.

Why we chose it

It's a genuine complete food built on a proper 60% beef base, which matters more to us than the pasta the name leads with. We'd rather sell it on the beef than let the name do the talking on its own.
