Two-meat recipes are simplest to understand when neither animal is hidden behind a combined total. This terrine declares an even split between venison and wild boar.

Venison is 30% and wild boar 30%. Potatoes are 4%, butternut squash 3%, with carrots, green beans, apples, minerals, hemp oil and botanicals also listed. The 400G terrine is complete wet dog food and is described as grain free. Its analysis gives 10.5% protein, 5.8% fat, 3% ash, 0.5% fibre, 78% moisture and 99 kcal/100g. The manufacturer warns that freshly prepared venison creates a rare possibility of a small piece of shot remaining in the food.

A shot warning applies. The manufacturer says a small piece may very occasionally remain because freshly prepared venison is used. Check the food as directed on the current packaging, and choose another recipe if that possibility is unacceptable.

Who it's for: dogs whose owners want complete wet terrine with equal venison and wild-boar shares and have read the manufacturer’s shot warning.
