Full description

Recipe names inspired by human dishes can be fun, but the dog’s bowl still needs a plain ingredient account. Coronation Chicken is led by chicken, with fruit and turmeric in supporting roles.

Chicken is 65%, pumpkin 2%, apricots 2% and turmeric 0.1% in both pack sizes. Spinach, minerals and botanicals are also listed. The 400G tin declares cranberries at 2% and 5.2% fat; the smaller tray lists cranberries without a percentage and does not supply a fat figure. Both are complete wet dog food with 10.1% protein, 2.4% ash, 0.5% fibre, 80% moisture and 91 kcal/100g. The recipe is described as grain free.

smaller tray or 400G tin
Complete wet dog food
Chicken 65%
Pumpkin and apricots 2% each
Turmeric 0.1%
Energy 91 kcal/100g

One panel is less detailed. Only the 400G variant declares cranberries at 2% and fat at 5.2%; those numbers must not be assumed for the smaller tray. Check the selected pack when either figure affects the choice.

Who it's for: dogs whose owners want complete chicken wet food with pumpkin, apricot and turmeric, and a choice of two pack sizes.

Why we chose it

Chicken at 65% gives this human-inspired name a firm canine-food identity. I chose to keep the cranberry and fat differences visible because family pages should help shoppers select a size without blurring the labels.
