Grain-free doesn't have to mean unfamiliar, and this pouch keeps turkey as a straightforward, common protein while dropping rice in favour of potato for owners specifically avoiding grain rather than looking for a novel meat.

Turkey makes up 71% of the meaty chunk here, alongside pea starch, dried potatoes and dried peas. It is a complete grain-free food for adult dogs, and James Wellbeloved's stated approach across the range is to exclude beef, pork, soya, eggs, dairy and wheat.

• Complete grain-free wet food for adult dogs, turkey named as 71% of the meaty chunk
• Protein 5.5%, fat 4.0%, crude ash 1.5%, crude fibre 0.80%
• Omega-6 at 1.0%
• No rice — uses pea starch and dried potatoes instead
• Excludes beef, pork, soya, eggs, dairy and wheat
• 90G pouches

On what's not stated. James Wellbeloved don't publish what proportion of this pouch is meaty chunk versus gravy, only that turkey is 71% of the chunk itself. No feeding chart is provided on the pages we can access either, so use the guide printed on the pouch or box for how much to feed.

Who it's for: adult dogs on a grain-free diet who are already comfortable with turkey, rather than owners looking to introduce a new protein at the same time.
