Full description
Novelty prints sell themselves on the shelf; the padding underneath is what decides whether the lead actually gets used every day after that.
This lead has a tightly woven nylon webbing base with a multi-colour camper-van ribbon overlay and a neoprene-padded handle. It's the Large width, 1" (2.5cm) wide, at 120cm (48") long. Hem & Boo also make a narrower Medium (1.9cm) width as a separate lead.

- Neoprene-padded handle
- Large width: 1" (2.5cm) wide
- 120cm (48") long
- Multi-colour print
Check the width as well as the length. This is the Large (2.5cm) width; a narrower Medium (1.9cm) lead is made as a separate product, so a smaller dog that would find this bulky in the hand needs that listing rather than this one made shorter.
Who it's for: owners of a dog suited to a wider, sturdier lead who still want a padded handle and a distinctive print, rather than plain webbing.

Why we chose it
A padded grip is what your hand actually feels on a 120cm walk, not the pattern printed on the webbing, and that's why the handle mattered more to us than the colourway when we picked this one. The multi-colour print is what gets it noticed on the shelf.
