Specifications

Brand: Happy Pet
Dimensions: 37cm x 6.5cm x 11.5cm

Full description

A seasonal dog toy has to work as a rope toy first and a costume prop second, because the dog has no idea it's October.

The Pumpkin Rope Toy is built as a rope toy with a monster-pumpkin shape woven into it, measuring 37cm long by 6.5cm wide by 11.5cm deep. It's part of Happy Pet's Halloween range rather than a year-round rope toy.

Rope construction with a pumpkin-monster shape

On the size label. the makers list this as a 30CM item, but the toy's own measured dimensions come out at 37cm long — worth knowing if you're judging whether it will suit a smaller dog's mouth, since the longer figure is the one to go by.

Who it's for: dogs that like a rope toy to tug and shake, and owners after a Halloween-specific stocking filler rather than a plain everyday rope.

Why we chose it

It's a genuine seasonal line rather than a repainted everyday toy. Rope toys are also a safe bet for a Halloween shelf, because most dogs will tug a rope regardless of what shape is woven into it.
