Full description

A ball that a dog can actually pick up easily makes the difference between a genuinely fun game of fetch and one where the dog keeps losing its grip and giving up.

This is a durable rubber ball, football-shaped, designed to be easy for dogs to pick up and to bounce well for games of fetch. Happy Pet say chewing on it helps clean teeth and massage gums, alongside the play value.

Durable rubber construction
Football shape, designed for a good bounce
Easy for dogs to pick up
Chewing helps clean teeth and massage gums

What to watch for. Happy Pet recommend supervision and removing the toy if it becomes damaged or parts separate - like any rubber chew toy, it isn't meant to be left with a determined chewer unsupervised long-term.

Who it's for: owners who play fetch regularly and want a ball with genuine bounce and grip, rather than a toy that mostly just gets carried around.

Why we chose it

A ball that actually bounces well and is easy to grip is worth more to most dogs than a fancier toy that just sits there. The dental benefit from chewing is a bonus rather than the main reason to buy it, which keeps the pitch honest.
