Full description
A tug toy sized for a small dog doesn't survive first contact with a large, powerful one, and most 'extreme' branding on dog toys is more marketing than material — this one is at least backed by an actual size.
Happy Pet's Extreme Tugger is a rope toy measuring 60 x 24 x 24cm, described by Happy Pet as roughly the size of a football, and weighing 1.92kg — genuinely large by tug-toy standards.
- 60 x 24 x 24cm
- Weighs 1.92kg
- Rope construction
- Described by Happy Pet as suited to larger dogs
One thing worth knowing. Happy Pet don't give a maximum dog weight or breed guidance beyond the size and weight figures — a large size doesn't automatically mean indestructible, so a dedicated power-chewer should still be supervised with any rope toy.
Who it's for: owners of a large or powerful dog whose current tug toys don't last, or don't feel substantial enough for a proper game of tug.

Why we chose it
At 1.92kg and 60cm long, this is genuinely sized for a big dog rather than a standard toy dressed up as one for large breeds. Rope toys wear out eventually regardless of size, so it's worth treating as something to replace rather than a one-off buy.
