A dog does not read a swing tag. The character printed on a plush toy is chosen by whoever is buying it, not by whoever is about to carry it round the garden, which is worth remembering when a name is doing most of the work of telling two toys apart.
This one is sold by the makers as "Doug", filed in their plush dog toys range, in a single size marked Large. Beyond the name, the category and that size label, nothing about its shape, filling or outer fabric has reached us.
- Plush dog toy, listed as "Doug"
- Range: Our plush dog toys
- Size on the label: Large
- No material, filling or fabric supplied to us
On what's missing. We don't have a length, a weight or a washing instruction for this toy, only its name, its category and "Large" on the label. If you need to know exactly how big Large is, or what it's stuffed with, before you buy, that detail is not one the makers have given us yet.
Who it's for: owners restocking the plush shelf for a dog that gets through soft toys, where a name on the tag is as reasonable a way as any to choose between several similar options.

Common questions
What size is this toy?
It's listed as Large. The makers don't give a length or weight against that label.
What is it made from?
We don't know. It's sold in our plush dog toys category, but no fabric or filling has been supplied.
Can I leave my dog alone with it?
We'd treat any plush toy as one for supervised play rather than something to leave with a determined chewer, given we have no construction detail for this one.
Is Doug a particular design or breed of toy?
It's simply the name the makers give this toy in their plush range. No design or theme has been supplied beyond that.
How long does delivery take?

Why we chose it
We stock the plush range because dogs that like soft toys generally want more than one of them, and a shelf of named characters makes that an easy repeat sale. Doug fills out that range rather than standing apart from it.
