Collagen-based chews are marketed as a rawhide alternative, but the appeal for most owners is simpler than that: they last a while and they're not actually rawhide, which is the only thing some dogs' stomachs object to.

These are made mostly from refined collagen (55%) coated in chicken breast (37%), with chicken liver adding to the flavour. Good Boy's analysis puts crude protein at a high 79%, with fat at just 3%.
