A dog that has eaten one recipe for two years is a dog whose owner has no idea which ingredient to blame when something changes. A multicase is the cheap answer to that: four lamb, four turkey and four chicken is a rotation rather than a diet.

The case holds twelve 395G trays and Forthglade sell it as a complete meal for adult dogs from one year, so it replaces a dry food rather than topping one up. The lamb recipe on the information supplied is lamb 75%, brown rice 4%, carrots 2% and peas 2%, with linseed oil at 0.5%, seaweed at 0.45%, glucosamine and chondroitin both at 50mg/kg, and camomile, parsley, rosemary and nettle. Against that recipe the analytical figures are protein 10.5%, oils and fats 8%, fibre 0.5%, ash 4% and moisture 72%.

On the feeding guide. Forthglade band by dog weight - 0-10kg, 10-25kg, 25-40kg and 40-70kg - but the trays-per-day figures did not come through legibly in the data supplied to us, so take those off the printed sleeve rather than from this page. Two other things are worth saying plainly. The composition and analytical figures we hold cover one of the three recipes, not all three, so the turkey and chicken trays will read differently. And at 72% moisture a tray is largely water, which is why the weight bands climb faster than they would on a dry food and why wet feeding looks expensive per kilo until you account for that.

Who it's for: owners of adult dogs who want wet food without opening tins, households rotating proteins deliberately, and anyone topping a dry bowl with something that has a named meat at the front of it.
