Full description
A shorter tape lead isn't a lesser one — on a busy pavement, a long stretch of slack is mostly a tripping hazard, and 5m is plenty of room to let a dog sniff without losing control of them.
flexi's New Comfort L is a 5m tape lead rated for dogs up to 60kg, with a braking system, adjustable soft-grip handle and a chromed snap hook. flexi's own figure for the lead's weight is approximately 520g, and it can be fitted with their optional LED Lighting System or Multi Box.
- 5m tape lead
- Rated for dogs up to 60kg
- Chromed snap hook
- Braking system and adjustable handle grip
- Weighs approximately 520g, per flexi
- Compatible with flexi's LED Lighting System and Multi Box
One thing worth knowing. flexi also make this L-size tape lead in a longer length, so if you regularly walk somewhere with open space, it's worth checking whether the extra length would actually get used before choosing the shorter one.
Who it's for: owners walking mostly on pavements, in parks with other dogs about, or anywhere a longer stretch of slack tape would just be underfoot.

Why we chose it
5m is the more usable length for most everyday walking, where a dog wandering the full stretch of a longer tape becomes a hazard rather than a comfort. The 60kg rating on this length is worth checking against your dog's actual weight before you buy the wrong one on assumption.
