Collars are sized by the neck girth — the measurement around the base of the neck where the collar will sit.
How to measure
- Wrap a soft tape around the base of the neck.
- Add room for two fingers between the tape and the neck.
- Use that measurement to pick a size whose range it falls within.

Full description
Most collars are a strip of black nylon doing a job. This one does the same job with some pattern to it, in a paisley print across a range of greens and greyish blues, so it looks like something chosen rather than something grabbed. It is a collar a dog wears all day and every day, which means the buckle and the ring matter more than the print, and both are sound here.
The webbing is soft against the neck but tightly woven, and the quick-release buckle opens under thumb pressure in a moment, which is exactly what you want when a collar has to come off in a hurry. A sliding adjuster sets the length, and a D-ring sits at the back for the lead and an identity tag. Fabric collars like this one dry out after a wet walk rather than staying cold and clammy against the coat.
