Full description
The clearest safety fact about Exmarid Ointment is that it is not suitable for cats.
Exmarid Ointment is supplied in a 100g pack and names calamine, cade oil and sulphur in its formula. The label presents it for dogs with minor wounds, abrasions or broken skin and says to apply with gentle massage. It is described as non-greasy and as a biocidal product. Because this is applied to compromised skin, the label and product information should be read before every use rather than relying on general ointment habits. For practical comparison, the combination of Dog skin ointment and 100g confirms both the product form and the amount or variant supplied. Check those details alongside the stated suitability and directions before choosing between similarly named options.

Use biocides safely. Ingredient concentrations, application frequency and contraindications beyond the cat exclusion are not supplied here. Read the label in full, keep it away from cats and seek professional advice for a deep, infected, persistent or worsening wound.

Why we chose it
The species exclusion belongs at the top of this page. I have kept the product's intended use close to the label while avoiding broader healing or antibacterial promises that the supplied detail cannot responsibly support.
