The manufacturer's own size table for this step-in flannel harness. The bust figure is the adjustable chest range, so pick the size whose range your dog's chest girth falls inside.

How to measure

Chest (bust): measure right round the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs.
Pick the size whose adjustment range covers that figure, rather than one it lands right at the end of.
Cross-check against the recommended weight, and size up if your dog is between sizes.

Full description

A dog who pulls on a collar is putting all of that force through their windpipe, and you can usually hear it in the coughing halfway down the road. Moving them onto a padded vest changes where the pressure lands without changing anything else about the walk. This set does exactly that and hands you a matching lead as well, so there is nothing to pair up or colour-match afterwards.

The vest is flannel with a light foam cotton padding. It steps on over the front legs and fastens across the back, which is far easier than a head-first harness on a dog who dislikes being fussed with. The retractable lead pays out as your dog moves ahead and takes up the slack when they drop back, so less line trails through puddles. Reflective strips on the vest catch headlights on early starts and dark evenings.
