How to measure
- Width: lighter, narrower webbing for small dogs; wider, thicker webbing for strong pullers and larger dogs.
- Standard lead (1.2–1.5 m): everyday pavement walks and training.
- Long line (3–10 m): recall practice and open spaces.
- Short / traffic lead (under 1 m): close control in busy areas.

Full description
The jolt of a sudden lunge travels through a lead into your shoulder and into your dog's chest, and across a year of daily walks that adds up for both of you. A bungee section takes the sharp edge off it, stretching under load so the movement slows instead of stopping dead. On a dog who spots a squirrel and commits to it, that is the difference between a wrench and a firm pull.
The lead measures 120 cm and extends to around 160 cm as the bungee stretches, which gives useful give without letting your dog drift into the road. The handle is padded, so the webbing does not bite into your palm once the stretch runs out and the pull becomes real. Strap width scales with the size: 1.5 cm on the small, 2 cm on the medium, 2.5 cm on the large, so a heavier dog gets a broader strap.
