How to measure
- Wrap a soft tape measure around your dog's neck where the collar naturally sits.
- Slip two fingers under the tape so the collar won't sit too tight.

Full description
Kitting out a small dog usually means a collar from one place, a lead from somewhere else, and the quiet realisation on the first walk that neither goes with the other. This set solves that in one purchase: a padded collar and a braided rope lead, made to match, arriving together and sized for the same dog. It is not a profound problem, but nor is it one worth spending a Saturday afternoon on.
Braided rope has a specific advantage in the hand. It is round rather than flat, so it does not cut across the palm when a dog stops dead to sniff something, and it holds a loop over the wrist comfortably. The collar is padded on its inside face, which is the part that rubs on a small dog with a fine coat and a slender neck.
