Full description
A ball that rolls under the sofa the moment a game gets going stops being a game, which is why a handle on a football matters more than the football itself.
This is Dog & Co's Mega Pickup Football: an actual football size — size 3, 7.5" (19cm) — fitted with a webbing handle for interactive play and webbing tabs so it's easy to pick back up and throw again.
- Size 3 football, 7.5" (19cm)
- Webbing handle for interactive play
- Webbing tabs for easy pickup, tossing and tugging
- Available in red, lime or orange
What's not on the card. Dog & Co haven't given us the materials the ball or webbing are made from, or a weight, so we can't say how it holds up to a determined chewer left alone with it — treat it as an interactive toy for play together rather than something left down unsupervised.
Who it's for: owners who play fetch or tug and want a proper football size rather than a small chew ball, with a handle built in so it's easier to throw and easier for the dog to bring back.

Why we chose it
The handle is the whole point of this one — a plain football is hard for a dog to pick up cleanly, and the webbing tabs solve that without turning it into a soft toy that won't survive a real game. Having it in three colours means it's easy to spot on a muddy field, which is a small thing that actually matters outdoors.
