Hover to zoomSize guide & how to measure
The manufacturer's own size table, in inches and pounds. Chest girth is their primary sizing standard.
How to measure
- Chest Girth: measure the girth at the widest part of the dog's chest.
- Neck Girth: measure around your dog's neck, usually where the collar is.
- Back Length: measure along the dog's back to the base of the tail.
| Size | Chest Girth (in) | Neck Girth (in) | Back Length (in) | Pet Weight (lb) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 13-16” | 10-13” | ≥11” | 6.6-11 |
| S | 16-18” | 12-14” | ≥12.5” | 11-18 |
| M | 18-21” | 14-16” | ≥14.5” | 16-24 |
| L | 20-24” | 15-18” | ≥16.5” | 22-33 |
| XL | 22-27” | 17-19” | ≥18.5” | 28-44 |
| XXL | 26-31” | 18-20” | ≥20” | 44-66 |
| XXXL | 31-35” | 19-22” | ≥22” | 66-88 |
Measurements are the manufacturer's own figures, in inches and pounds. Their size notes say the measurement should be snug but not tight and that if you fall between two sizes you should choose the SMALLER size (this differs from our usual size-up advice, so we have kept the manufacturer's wording). Do not choose on regular clothing sizes alone.

Full description
Noise is what tips most anxious dogs over the edge, and pressure alone only addresses half of it. This vest adds a hood that pulls up over the ears, so a dog who panics at fireworks gets the steady body pressure of a calming wrap and a layer of soft fabric muffling the bangs at the same time. For dogs whose distress is clearly sound-driven rather than general, that combination is worth trying before anything stronger.
The body is stretchy and breathable so it can be pulled snug against the torso without restricting the chest, which is the point of a pressure garment: constant, even contact rather than tightness in one place. It goes on easily over the head and body, and the hood sits back off the eyes. Sizes run from S through to XXXL in green or blue, with weights between 93g and 310g depending on size, so even the largest is a light thing to wear.
- Stretchy, breathable close-fitting body
- Attached hood that covers the ears
- Applies gentle, even pressure around the torso
- Sizes S to XXXL in green or blue
- 93g to 310g depending on size
- Quick to fit and remove
Being honest about it. This is a calming garment, not a coat: it is not waterproof and it is not intended as warmth for winter walks, whatever the category listing suggests. The hood dampens sound, it does not block it, and it is not ear protection. Plenty of dogs settle under it, and some object strongly to anything over the ears, so introduce it on an ordinary quiet evening rather than mid-storm. Severe phobia and separation distress still need your vet and a behaviourist.
Who it's for: Dogs whose anxiety is triggered by fireworks, thunder or traffic noise, where muffling the sound matters as much as the pressure.

Why we chose it
Snug pressure clothing helps some dogs through fireworks and does nothing for others, and I would rather set that expectation now. Stretch fabric, fourteen sizes. Fit it close but not tight, and try it before you need it.
