How to measure

Neck circumference: measure around the base of the neck where a collar sits.
Chest circumference: measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
Back length: measure along the spine from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.

Measurements are the manufacturer's own figures and are printed without a unit on the columns, so they are reproduced unit-less (the panel does mention a 1-3CM manual-measurement tolerance). Note the maker repeats the same neck figure for M and L (36) and for XL and XXL (40) - that is their own table, not a transcription error. Weight is given in Chinese catties (1 catty = 0.5 kg), so 4-6 catties is roughly 2-3 kg and 21-28 catties is roughly 10.5-14 kg. If between sizes, size up.

Full description

Small, short-coated dogs lose heat quickly, and a walk that feels mild to you can be genuinely cold to a terrier standing still at the kerb. A knitted layer answers that without the bulk of a padded coat, and this one does it in bright yellow covered in pineapple motifs, cheerful enough that most owners buy it for the look and then keep it on for the warmth.
