Full description
Not every toy on a shelf comes with a full spec sheet, and a character catnip toy is usually bought on the strength of the shape and the ingredient rather than any measurement.
Merlin Monkey Catnip is a catnip toy shaped like a monkey, weighing 0.08kg. Unlike several of Coolpet's other character shapes, no crinkle material or additional feature is stated for this one — catnip is the only confirmed content.
- Monkey shape
- Contains catnip
- Weighs 0.08kg
- Sold as a single toy
- For pet use only, per the manufacturer's caution
What the label does not say. Coolpet don't confirm crinkle material, fabric type or any feature beyond catnip for this particular toy, unlike several others in the same character range — if crinkle sound specifically is what you're after, this may not be the one that delivers it.
Who it's for: cats with a known catnip response, and owners who are choosing on the monkey shape rather than any additional feature.

Why we chose it
It's one of the simplest, cheapest toys in the character range, which makes it a low-risk way to find out if a cat responds to this particular shape and format. Beyond catnip and the shape itself, there isn't much else to the pitch — which is honest, if not exciting.
