Full description
A dog working to get a treat out of a ball is genuinely occupied for longer than one that's just handed the treat directly, which is most of the appeal of a treat ball over a bowl.
This is Chewtopia's Eco Treat Ball, measuring 6.5cm and made from toughened recycled plastic. It has a centre hole for treats or a chew stick, and moulded insert sections that make it easier to throw and pick back up. Chewtopia say it's manufactured and designed in the UK, from UK-sourced recycled plastic.
- Measures 6.5cm
- Made from toughened recycled plastic
- Centre hole for treats or a chew stick
- Moulded sections for easy throw and pickup
- Designed and manufactured in the UK
- Made from UK-sourced recycled plastic
One thing worth knowing. Chewtopia describe the plastic as toughened, but no specific hardness rating or chew-resistance claim is given, so how it holds up against a very strong chewer isn't something this listing confirms either way.
Who it's for: owners who want a treat-dispensing toy that keeps a dog occupied, and like that it's made in the UK from recycled plastic rather than being purely disposable.

Why we chose it
A treat ball made from UK-sourced recycled plastic is a genuinely nicer story to tell than most plastic toys, without costing more for it. The centre hole doubling for both loose treats and a chew stick also means it does two jobs instead of one.
