Dogs choose sticks. Left to themselves in any park in the country they will pick one up, and the trouble with a stick has never been the shape — it is everything a real one is made of, and what happens when a dog bites down hard on it.

This is that shape in BIONIC Rubber, a moulded toy with a patented design that BIONIC build for heavy chewers. There are two treat-holding compartments in it rather than one, so a stuffed toy stays interesting from both ends. It bounces, it floats, and it is dishwasher safe — which is the specification that decides whether a stuffable toy gets cleaned or quietly binned. BIONIC state it contains no lead, no phthalates and no BPA. The large is 26cm, with medium and small below it.
