Full description

A liver bone contains more dried beef than dried liver, which the product name doesn't reveal.

Betty Miller's Liver Bones are a dog chew or treat, complementary rather than complete. They come in a 500g bag, with biscuits approximately 45x30x7mm and 5g. The composition is English wholemeal flour, dried beef 9%, dried liver 1%, chicken fat. The analysis shows crude protein 16%, crude oils and fat 10%, crude fibres 1.9% and crude ash 2%.

A discrepancy in the information. One statement says the biscuits suit any sized dog, while the specific suitability field says small dogs. We have gone with the narrower small-dog statement, and no reason for the difference is given.

Who it's for: owners of small dogs who want a biscuit-style treat and will check the ingredients and analysis before buying.

Why we chose it

The deciding fact is the composition: English wholemeal flour, dried beef 9%, dried liver 1%, chicken fat. I keep the complementary status and pack format beside it so the buyer can judge the treat without relying on flavour-first marketing.
