Full description

Large-breed puppies grow fast enough that getting the diet wrong tends to show up in the joints rather than just on the scales, which is why breed size, not only age, decides which puppy food actually fits.

Turkey meal leads this recipe at 25%, alongside wheat, corn, soya meal and rice. DHA is included at 0.05%, linked by BETA to brain and vision development in a growing puppy, and the feeding table is set by both age (1.5–24 months) and the puppy's expected ADULT bodyweight (25–70kg), rather than a flat daily amount.

Turkey meal 25%, the lead ingredient
Protein 28%, fat 12%, crude ash 7%, fibre 3%
DHA 0.05%, included for brain and vision development
Feeding table set by age (1.5–24 months) and expected adult weight (25–70kg)
Also suitable for gestation and lactation in large-breed bitches
2kg or 14kg bag

On the feeding table. It's set by expected ADULT weight, not the puppy's weight today, so you need a reasonably confident guess at final size before the daily amount on the chart means much. BETA also ask that food be moistened for puppies under three months, which isn't obvious until you're actually reading the table.

Who it's for: owners of a growing large-breed puppy (expected adult weight 25–70kg), and it also covers a large-breed bitch through gestation and lactation.

Beta Puppy Breed Turkey

Why we chose it

The feeding table is genuinely built around expected adult weight rather than one flat amount, which matters more on a large breed than a small one. It also covers gestation and lactation, so a single bag does the job across more than one life stage.
