Beta 1+ Adult Dog Turkey & Lamb

A dog food that leads with two named meats on the front usually has a lot more going on by the time you reach the ingredient list, and this one is no exception. Turkey meal comes first at 22%, with lamb meal further down at 7%, and wheat, corn and animal fats filling out much of the rest — this is not a single-protein or grain-free recipe.

Crude protein is 26%, fat content 13%, crude ash 7.5% and crude fibre 2.5%, with dried chicory root at 1% as a prebiotic fibre source and small inclusions of dried carrot, dried spinach and dried parsley at 0.07% each. Purina state the recipe contains no added artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Feeding is guided by a bodyweight table covering dogs from 5kg to 70kg.
