A raw diet built around one meat and its own organs, rather than a blend of two meats, is closer to how a single-kill meal actually breaks down - and it makes checking for a reaction to one specific meat far simpler.

This one is built around chicken with bone, plus ox liver, kidney and heart, rather than being blended with a second meat like tripe. It carries more fat than a leaner blend, since chicken and organ meat both bring their own fat content along with them.

• Chicken with bone 65%, ox liver 5%, ox kidney 5%, ox heart 5%
• Carrot 9%, parsnip 8%, broccoli 3%, plus the usual nine-strong botanical mix
• Analysis: 12.8% protein, 14.6% fat, 2.43% ash, 0.1% fibre
• Moisture 66.9%, calcium 0.75%, phosphorus 0.47%, 137 kcal per 100g
• Complete food for adult dogs, available in more than one pack size

On fat content. At 14.6% fat, this is a noticeably richer recipe than a leaner blend built around more vegetable and connective tissue - if your dog needs to watch fat intake, this isn't the recipe for that, whatever else recommends it.

Who it's for: owners feeding raw who want a single-meat, higher-fat recipe with its own three organs included, rather than a lower-fat blend built from two meats.
