Mud rarely waits until you're home to happen, which is why a pack of wipes that actually fits in a coat pocket gets used a lot more than a bottle of shampoo sitting in the bathroom.

Beco's dog wipes are infused with coconut oil, shea butter and aloe vera, with a bobbly texture designed to pick up mud, and a coconut scent. This is the 20-wipe travel pack, sized to fit in most bags and pockets. Beco also make an unscented version.

• 20 wipes per pack

• Coconut scent
• Travel-pack size, fits most bags and pockets
• Unscented version also made by Beco

On the thin patches. Beco don't give us wipe dimensions or a full ingredient list on this card, so if your dog has known skin sensitivities, it's worth checking the pack itself before first use, or reaching for the unscented version Beco also make.

Who it's for: owners wanting a quick, on-the-go clean-up for muddy paws, bums and tums after a walk, rather than a full bath.
