Full description
A cat fed at seven and then not again until nine the next morning is a cat that will wake you at four. Splitting the same daily ration across more, smaller meals is the single most effective thing you can do about early-morning yowling and gulped food, and it is a job a timer does far better than a person with work to go to.
There are three versions and they are genuinely different machines. The button version times meals on the unit itself and needs no network at all. The Wi-Fi version adds phone control, and the top version adds a camera and voice, so you can see and speak to whoever is standing at the bowl. All three take a 4L hopper, run from the mains, and hold four AA batteries as backup.
