Full description

A small dog is not just a large dog scaled down, and a bag labelled "Mini" usually means the recipe or the range it belongs to has been positioned for that difference — though the label does not always say exactly what changed.

Arden Grange's Adult Mini range is built on lamb meat meal (29%) and fresh lamb (5%), with rice at 26%. Protein is 25% and fat 16%, with a notably higher crude ash figure (8.9%) than most of Arden Grange's other adult recipes.

On what "Mini" means here. Arden Grange do not state a smaller kibble size on the card supplied to us, so we cannot confirm whether the kibble itself is sized down for a small mouth or whether "Mini" refers only to the range and pack size. If kibble size is important for your dog, check the bag before assuming.

Who it's for: a small or mini breed adult dog on a lamb-based diet, particularly one already used to Arden Grange's ingredient style in a smaller bag size.

Arden Grange Adult Mini Dog Lamb & Rice

Why we chose it

It is a straightforward lamb option in a smaller 6kg bag, which suits a small dog's household better than committing to a 12kg sack of food that will take months to get through. We would rather sell the size that matches how fast a dog actually eats.
