Full description

A mini breed dog eats a fraction of what a large dog does at each meal, which makes a smaller bag size more practical than it sounds — the food is used up before it goes stale, rather than sitting half-full for months.

Arden Grange's Adult Mini Chicken & Rice is built on chicken meat meal (27%) and fresh chicken (5%), with rice at 26%. Protein sits at 25% and fat at 15%, in a 6kg bag rather than Arden Grange's standard 12kg size.

On what "Mini" changes. Arden Grange do not state a different kibble size on the card supplied to us — the practical difference here is the smaller bag, matched to how much a small dog eats, rather than a confirmed change to the kibble itself.

Who it's for: a small or mini breed adult dog whose owner would rather buy a bag sized to match their dog's appetite than a 12kg sack that outlasts its freshness.

Arden Grange Adult Mini Dog Chicken & Rice

Why we chose it

The 6kg size genuinely matters for a small dog's household — a 12kg bag can sit open for months, and food does go stale. This is the same recipe in a size that gets used up at a sensible rate.
