How to measure
- Stand your dog on a sheet of paper and mark the front and back of the weight-bearing paw, as shown in the maker's tracing diagram.
- Measure the paw length (L) between the two marks.
- Measure the paw width (W) across the widest part of the paw.

Full description
Laminate and tile are hard on an old dog. Nails skid, the back legs go out sideways, and after a few bad slides the dog starts avoiding the room altogether rather than risk it. Rubberised soles give back the grip that pads on a smooth floor cannot provide, and for many older dogs that is the difference between crossing the kitchen and standing at the edge of it.
These are knitted rather than moulded, so they flex with the paw instead of forcing it into a boot shape, and each one has an adjustable strap above the joint. That is the part most dog socks get wrong, since a sock without a fastening lasts about four steps. The set of four covers every paw, and the knit stays thin enough that a dog still gets some feel of the ground through it.
