Full description

Skin and coat supplements are one of the few categories where the ingredient list genuinely tells you most of what you need to know, because the active part is simply which oils are in the bottle and in what mix.

AniForte's Premium Feeding Oil combines linseed oil, hemp oil, black cumin oil, evening primrose oil and salmon oil, together totalling 54.3% omega-3 fatty acids and 13.36% omega-6 fatty acids. It's meant to be mixed into the daily feed rather than given on its own, and is aimed at supporting skin and coat appearance as well as the immune system through cell metabolism.

What's not given. AniForte don't state a daily dose or a drops-per-kg amount on this listing, so we can't tell you how much to add to a bowl — check the bottle itself for the exact amount, or ask a vet if you want a dose tailored to your dog's size or condition.

Who it's for: owners looking to add omega-3 and omega-6 oils to an existing diet for skin, coat or general condition support, rather than switching to a different food entirely.

Why we chose it

A named blend of five different oils, with the omega-3 and omega-6 totals actually stated, is more transparent than most feeding oils manage — a lot of them just say fish oil and leave it there. It's an easy top-up to add to whatever a dog is already eating rather than a change to the diet itself.
