Full description

Cold, wet weather is when a lot of owners notice their dog moving stiffer than usual, which is exactly the pattern AniForte pitch this supplement at rather than a constant, year-round dose.

AniForte's African Devil's Claw is a powder of ground devil's claw root, intended to support the musculoskeletal system and normal joint function. AniForte suggest it can be used alongside other joint supplements, and specifically mention pairing it with their own Rose Hip Powder.

250g pack
Ground devil's claw root
Aimed at supporting the musculoskeletal system and normal joint function
AniForte suggest particular usefulness in cold, wet weather
Can be used alongside other joint supplements, per AniForte

What's not on the card. AniForte haven't given us a daily dose or an active-compound percentage for this powder, so how much to give depends on the animal — check the pack itself or a vet before starting, especially if you're combining it with another joint product as AniForte suggest.

Who it's for: owners of an older or stiffer dog or cat, particularly one that seems worse in cold or wet weather, looking for a natural addition to an existing joint routine.

Aniforte African Devils Claw

Why we chose it

Devil's claw root is a specific, named ingredient rather than a vague 'joint blend', which makes it easier to know exactly what you're giving. AniForte's own suggestion to pair it with Rose Hip Powder is a sensible one if you're already invested in their range rather than starting from scratch.
