Size guide & how to measure
Collars are sized by the neck girth — the measurement around the base of the neck where the collar will sit.
How to measure
- Wrap a soft tape around the base of the neck.
- Add room for two fingers between the tape and the neck.
- Use that measurement to pick a size whose range it falls within.
| Size | Typical neck girth | Rough guide |
|---|---|---|
| XS | 20–28 cm | Toy breeds |
| S | 26–36 cm | Small dogs |
| M | 34–48 cm | Medium dogs |
| L | 46–60 cm | Large dogs |
| XL | 58–72 cm | Giant breeds |
Ranges are approximate and vary by style. Always check this product’s Specifications for its exact measurements.
Full description
Small breed collars often just come in one colour, as if nobody buying for a toy breed has a preference — which is at least part of why this range comes in more than one.
Like the rest of the Small Bite line, this collar combines a strong, weatherproof nylon weave with a soft teddy bear fleece cover. This listing is the Small, fitting a 20-30cm neck.
- This size: Small, 20-30cm
- Strong, weatherproof nylon weave
- Soft teddy bear fleece cover
- Designed for small dogs and puppies
- Lightweight design
On sizing. This listing is the Small, 20-30cm only, not the full range on one page — a Medium at 30-50cm exists as a separate listing, so check your dog's neck measurement before choosing rather than assuming a picker covers both.
Who it's for: owners of a toy breed or young puppy wanting a soft, padded collar in a colour that isn't the only option available.

Why we chose it
Offering more than one colour in a genuinely small, padded size is a small thing. It matters to owners who've struggled to find anything that fits a toy breed at all, let alone in a colour they like.
