Hover to zoomSize guide & how to measure
Dog coats and jumpers are sized mainly by back length, with chest girth as a second check. Back length matters most for coverage.
How to measure
- Back length: measure along the spine from the base of the neck (collar area) to the base of the tail.
- Chest: measure around the widest part of the ribcage, behind the front legs.
- If the two measurements suggest different sizes, choose by back length and allow for the chest.
| Size | Typical back length | Typical chest |
|---|---|---|
| XS | 20–25 cm | 30–40 cm |
| S | 25–32 cm | 38–50 cm |
| M | 32–40 cm | 48–62 cm |
| L | 40–50 cm | 60–76 cm |
| XL | 50–60 cm | 74–92 cm |
Ranges are approximate and vary by style. Always check this product’s Specifications for its exact measurements.
Full description
A jumper and a raincoat are solving two different problems, and a fleece jumper is built for the first one — keeping a dog warm — rather than the second, which is keeping one dry.
This is a polar fleece jumper in khaki, sold across four sizes: small, medium, large and extra large. The makers have not supplied chest or length measurements for any of the four, nor a washing instruction or a fastening description.
- Polar fleece fabric
- Khaki colourway
- Sizes: small, medium, large, extra large
- Category: dog jumpers
- No size guide or washing instructions supplied
On sizing. With no chest or body-length measurement given for any of the four sizes, there's no way to match this to your dog's own measurements before ordering — you're working from the size name alone. If your dog is between sizes or an unusual shape for their breed, that's a real risk worth knowing about upfront.
Who it's for: owners wanting a warm layer for cool, dry walks or an unheated house — not a replacement for a waterproof coat on a wet day.

Why we chose it
Fleece is a straightforward, honest fabric choice for warmth rather than something dressed up as more weatherproof than it is. Khaki is also a colour that doesn't show mud the way a lighter one would.
