Frontline flea and worm treatment: what's in our range
We're not going to put a reviews page here, because a shop scoring its own products out of five is marketing dressed up as fact, and that's not something we do. What we can tell you plainly is what's actually in our Frontline range for dogs and cats, how the spot-on treatments differ from the wormer, and what matters more than any star rating: matching the right product to your pet's species and weight.
Why we're not running a reviews page
Genuine customer reviews belong on an independent platform, not on a page a shop controls and can edit. We could write glowing copy about Frontline and call it a review, but that would be us marking our own homework, and it would tell you nothing you couldn't get from the label.
What we'd rather do is be useful in a different way: tell you exactly what we stock, how the range breaks down, and the practical things worth checking before you order. If something you've bought from us doesn't seem right, email hello@giddypets.co.uk with the order number and we'll sort it — that's a more useful channel than a star rating ever is.
What's actually in the range
Our Frontline range covers spot-on treatments sized for cats and for dogs across different weight bands, plus a separate wormer line sold as tablets. The spot-on products are applied to the skin; the wormer is given by mouth. They are not interchangeable, and they are not treating the same thing, so buying "a Frontline product" isn't enough on its own — you need the right type for what you're trying to do.
Within the spot-on side, pack sizes and weight bands vary between the cat and dog versions, and between small, medium and large dog sizes. That sizing is on the box for a reason: too little does not do the job properly, and giving a dog's product to a cat is not a safe substitution.
Before you buy
Match the product to your pet's species and current weight, not to what you bought last time if your dog or cat has grown or lost weight since. The weight band printed on the pack is there to be followed, not estimated.
Read and follow the instructions on the pack for how the product is used and how often — that's not something either we or a review score can safely shortcut for you. If your pet is a puppy or kitten under the stated minimum age, is pregnant or nursing, is unwell, or is already on another treatment, check with your vet before starting anything new.

Common questions
- Is Frontline safe for puppies and kittens?
- It depends on the specific product and the minimum age and weight stated on that pack, which varies across the range. Check the label before buying, and if your puppy or kitten is very young or you're at all unsure, ask your vet which product and timing is right for them.
- Do you sell the whole Frontline range?
- We stock a selection across the spot-on treatments for dogs and cats and the separate wormer line, shown in the grid above. That's what we currently have available to order rather than every product Frontline makes, and what's in stock can change.
- What's the difference between the spot-on treatment and the wormer?
- The spot-on is applied to the skin and the wormer is given by mouth as a tablet — they are different formats treating different things, not two versions of the same product. Check the specific product listing and pack for exactly what each one is for before choosing.
- How do I know which size to buy for my pet?
- Weigh your pet and match that figure to the weight band printed on the pack, choosing cat or dog sizing as appropriate rather than guessing from breed alone. If your pet's weight has changed recently, weigh again before you reorder rather than assuming last time's size still fits.
