Eukanuba dog food
Eukanuba is a dry dog food brand best known for splitting its recipes by breed size and life stage — small and medium breed, large breed, puppy, adult and senior — rather than selling one formula for every dog. We stock a selection from the range alongside the other dry food brands on the shelf.
You might also want to browse anti-gulp dog bowls and lick mats.
Who Eukanuba are
Eukanuba's recipes are built around the idea that a small breed puppy and a large breed adult have genuinely different needs, so the range is organised by size and life stage rather than by a single all-purpose formula. That is a more structured approach than some everyday brands take.
It sits toward the more considered end of the mainstream dry food market rather than the cheapest supermarket tier, without being one of the smaller premium or raw-adjacent brands either. It is a well-established, widely stocked name rather than a newer or niche one.
What we stock, and who it suits
Our range includes Eukanuba's Puppy Small & Medium Breed Lamb recipe, a complete dry food built specifically for smaller breed puppies, alongside a selection from the wider range. We stock a selection from Eukanuba rather than the whole catalogue, and what is shown above is what is currently available to order.
This tends to suit owners who want a dry food matched specifically to their dog's size and life stage, rather than a single formula fed across every dog in the house. As with any food, the right recipe still comes down to your dog's own age, size and any sensitivities rather than the brand alone.
Switching a dog onto Eukanuba
If you are moving a dog from a different dry food onto a Eukanuba recipe, do it gradually over a week or so rather than swapping bowls overnight. Mixing a little more of the new food in each day gives a dog's stomach time to adjust.
Watch their stools and appetite through the changeover, and if anything does not settle within a few days, or your dog seems genuinely unwell, speak to your vet rather than persisting with a food that clearly is not agreeing with them.

Common questions
- Is Eukanuba a good brand of dog food?
- Eukanuba is a well-established dry food brand built around matching recipes to a dog's breed size and life stage. Whether a specific recipe suits your dog depends on their own age, size and any sensitivities, the same as with any food you choose.
- Does Giddy Pets stock the whole Eukanuba range?
- No. We stock a selection from Eukanuba rather than every recipe the brand makes. What is shown in the grid above reflects what we currently have available to order, and that can change as stock does.
- Why does Eukanuba split recipes by breed size?
- The idea is that a small breed and a large breed grow and age differently, so a puppy or adult formula sized for one is not necessarily right for the other. Splitting the range by size and life stage is Eukanuba's way of addressing that rather than selling one formula for every dog.
- What if my dog doesn't get on with a new food?
- Introduce any new food gradually alongside what they are already eating, over several days rather than swapping overnight, and watch their stools and appetite. If your dog seems unwell or the change does not settle, speak to your vet rather than persisting with it.
