Cesar dog food

Cesar's whole format is built around portion size. Rather than opening a large tin and using half of it, each pouch or tray is close to a full small-dog meal, which cuts down on wastage and fridge storage for anyone feeding a dog that only needs a few ounces at a time.

The recipes lean towards softer, more textured wet food than a chunky tinned mix, which tends to suit older dogs and fussier eaters as much as it suits small breeds specifically.

Our range includes Cesar's wet pouches and trays, sold as a complete food for adult dogs. We stock a selection from the wider Cesar range rather than every flavour and format, and what shows above is what is currently available to order.

It suits owners of small and toy breeds who want an easy, mess-free portion at each meal, and owners of any size dog whose appetite has dropped and who responds better to something soft and strongly flavoured than to a dry kibble.

Because each pouch is a single portion, a multipack goes further per delivery than the same weight in a large tin, which is worth knowing if you are ordering to top up a cupboard rather than buying one meal at a time.

If you are switching a dog from dry food onto something like this, do it gradually over several days rather than swapping the whole bowl overnight, and keep an eye on their stools while they adjust to a different texture and moisture content.
