Cesar dog food
Cesar is a wet dog food brand built around small foil trays and pouches, aimed squarely at small breeds. We don't collect or publish product reviews on this site, so if that is what brought you here, this page won't have star ratings — what it does have is a straight answer on what the range is and what we currently stock.
What Cesar actually is
Cesar's trays and pouches are portioned for small dogs, in single-meal sizes rather than the larger tins and pouches made for bigger breeds. Recipes tend to be meat-led terrines and stews in gravy or jelly, marketed on being a treat-like, highly palatable wet food rather than a budget everyday option.
That portion size is the main practical reason owners of small dogs reach for it: less waste from an opened tray than from a large tin meant to be split across several meals, and a texture most small dogs take to easily.
What we stock, and who it suits
Our range includes several of Cesar's terrine and stew varieties, in mixed-selection multipacks as well as single flavours. What is shown in the grid above is what we currently have in, which can shift as our own stock does.
It suits owners of small dogs who want a wet food with minimal portioning to think about, rather than owners looking for the cheapest cost per kilogram or a specific grain-free or raw formulation. As with any food, whether a particular recipe agrees with your dog comes down to their own digestion rather than the brand on the tray.
If you are switching a small dog onto Cesar from another wet food, introduce it gradually over several days alongside what they already eat, the same as with any new food, rather than swapping the whole bowl over in one go. That gives their stomach time to adjust and makes it easier to spot whether a particular flavour agrees with them.

Common questions
- Does Giddy Pets publish reviews of Cesar dog food?
- No, we don't run a review or star-rating system on this site. What you'll find here instead is a plain description of the range and what we currently stock, so you can judge for yourself whether it suits your dog.
- Is Cesar dog food good quality?
- It is a mainstream wet food brand aimed at small dogs, and plenty of dogs do well on it. Quality is really about whether a specific recipe agrees with your own dog's digestion and preferences, which is true of any brand rather than something a review score can settle for you.
- Is Cesar suitable for large dogs?
- It is designed and portioned for small breeds, so it is not the practical choice for a large dog — you would need an impractical number of trays to make up one meal. A wet food sold in larger tins or pouches is the better fit for bigger breeds.
- Does Giddy Pets stock the full Cesar range?
- No, we stock a selection of Cesar's varieties rather than every recipe the brand makes. The grid above reflects what we currently have available to order, and that changes as stock does.
