Beaphar

Beaphar is a Dutch pet care brand that has been making flea, worm and everyday health products for dogs, cats and small pets for decades. Rather than one flagship food or toy, the name covers a wide spread of everyday care — parasite treatment, grooming, dental care and first aid — so what suits your pet depends on which part of the range you need rather than the brand name on the front.

What Beaphar makes

The biggest part of the range by far is flea and worm control — spot-on treatments, tablets and collars for dogs and cats, sold alongside household sprays for the carpets and bedding fleas actually live in rather than the animal itself. Alongside that sits a genuinely wide health-care line: ear and eye cleaners, stool-firming pastes for an unsettled stomach, and joint or skin supplements aimed at older or itchier pets.

The rest of it is more ordinary and no less useful — shampoos and grooming sprays, dental sticks, and basic first-aid items like antiseptic spray and wound care. None of it is dressed up as more than what it is: everyday products for everyday problems, priced so a routine flea treatment or a bottle of ear cleaner does not need a special occasion to justify buying it.

What we stock, and who it suits

We carry a selection from across the Beaphar range rather than every product it makes, with the strongest coverage in flea and worm treatment, general health and skin or coat care. What is shown in the grid above reflects what we currently have available to order, and that shifts a little as stock does.

Beaphar tends to suit an owner who wants a straightforward product for a specific job — treating fleas, calming a sensitive stomach, cleaning ears — rather than someone shopping on brand loyalty alone. As with any flea, worm or health product, check the packaging is right for your pet's species, age and weight before using it, and speak to your vet if you are ever unsure which one is appropriate.

Common questions

Is Beaphar a good brand for flea treatment?
Beaphar makes a wide range of flea and worm products, from spot-on treatments to collars and household sprays, and many owners use them as a routine part of parasite control. Which product and strength is right for your pet depends on their species, weight and age, so check the packaging carefully and ask your vet if you are unsure.
Does Giddy Pets stock the whole Beaphar range?
No, we stock a selection rather than everything Beaphar makes, weighted towards flea and worm treatment, grooming and general health care. What is shown in the grid above is what we currently have available to order, and that changes as stock does over time.
Are Beaphar flea treatments safe to use on cats?
Beaphar makes products for both dogs and cats, but they are not interchangeable — a flea treatment sized or formulated for a dog can be genuinely dangerous if given to a cat. Always check the packaging is for the right species before use, and ask your vet if a product does not say clearly enough.
What if a Beaphar product doesn't suit my pet?
Get in touch and we will sort it out — email us with the order details and what happened. If your pet has an adverse reaction rather than simply disliking a product, contact your vet as well, particularly with anything applied to the skin or given by mouth.
