This is a UK-authorised veterinary medicine containing nitroscanate at 500mg per tablet, for the routine control of common roundworms and tapeworms in dogs and puppies over 6 months old weighing 6-20kg. Beaphar's dosing is by weight band: one tablet for 6-10kg, two tablets for 10-20kg, mixed with a fifth of the dog's daily food and given in the morning on an empty stomach, without crushing the tablets, leaving at least 8 hours before the rest of the day's food.
