Choosing puppy food for a Labradoodle starts with a question the breed name cannot answer: how big is this particular puppy going to get? Miniature, medium and standard Labradoodles have very different adult weights, so the right puppy food, and how carefully you need to manage growth rate, depends on your puppy's expected size rather than the crossbreed label on the box.
Feeding a Labradoodle
A large breed
An adult Labradoodle typically weighs 10–30 kg, so a healthy Labradoodle eats a fair amount compared with other breeds. Every feeding guide on a bag is written per kilo of body weight, not per breed — start there, then adjust to the dog in front of you.
Life stage

Why expected adult size decides the food
A miniature Labradoodle might mature at around 7 to 9kg, while a standard can reach 25 to 30kg or more — a gap wide enough that a single "Labradoodle puppy food" cannot sensibly suit both.
