Full description

A chew named plainly after one meat, with no qualifying flavour word in the name, is the one place on this shelf where a shopper has every reason to expect that meat to actually be the main ingredient.

These are rawhide-free chew wraps built primarily from tapioca starch, glycerine, sorbitol liquid, isolated soy protein, corn starch, xanthan gum, sunflower oil and calcium carbonate, with chicken flavour making up 0.16% of the recipe, alongside thyme and rosemary.

9-pack of wrap chews
Chicken flavour 0.16%
Crude protein 12.7%, crude fat 4.81%, moisture 6.36%
Suitable for all life stages
Rawhide free

On the name. This is the one worth reading twice: despite being named 'Wrap Chicken', with no other flavour word attached, the composition contains no chicken meat or chicken fillet at all — only chicken flavour at 0.16%. If you're buying it specifically for a meat-based chew, this is closer to a flavoured starch chew than a chicken one.

Who it's for: owners looking for a low-cost, rawhide-free chew as an occasional reward, understanding that the chicken content here is a flavouring rather than a meat ingredient.

Zeus Bones Wrap Chicken

Why we chose it

We think this is exactly the kind of gap between name and content that a shopper should be told about before buying, not after. It's still a legitimate rawhide-free chew at a low price — just not a chicken one in any meaningful sense.
