Full description

Cats will lap at almost anything liquid put in front of them, which is the gap this kind of treat is built to fill - not a meal, but something to pour into a bowl and watch disappear in a way a dry treat never gets watched. It is styled as a yoghurt but is closer to a fermented milk drink, made with turkey.

The recipe is a fermented milk drink with turkey, with added vitamin E, vitamin D3 and taurine - the amino acid cats cannot make enough of themselves and have to get from food. It comes in an 85G pack.

Fermented milk drink with turkey
Added vitamin E, vitamin D3 and taurine
Crude protein 3.70%, crude fibre 0.40%, total fat 0.30%
Moisture 85.80%, lactose under 0.01%
85G pack

What this is not. With protein at 3.70% this is a treat, not a meal replacement - it is meant to sit alongside a cat's normal food, not instead of it. No ingredient breakdown beyond "fermented milk drink with turkey" is given on this card, so anyone feeding a cat with a known dairy sensitivity should check with a vet first.

Who it's for: cats that treat every liquid as fair game, and owners who want an occasional treat rather than a daily topper.

Yowup Yogurt Turkey Cat

Why we chose it

It is a genuinely different format to the usual dry cat treat, and cats that ignore biscuits will often still go for something they can lap up. The added taurine is a small but sensible extra for a treat that is, by its own numbers, mostly moisture.
