A treat that is mostly liquid behaves differently to one that is mostly meat, and a creamy tube is closer to a small meal topper than a biscuit.

These are creamy tuna purée tubes made from 26% tuna alongside dried tapioca, bonito powder and tuna oil. They analyse at 7.3% protein, 1.2% fat, 0.03% crude fibre and 85.5% moisture — closer in texture to a wet food than a dry snack — with taurine added at 1200mg/kg and natural flavourings.

• 26% tuna, with dried tapioca, bonito powder and tuna oil
• Protein 7.3%, fat 1.2%, crude fibre 0.03%, moisture 85.5%, ash 0.5%
• Taurine added at 1200mg/kg
• Up to 3 tubes a day, reducing the main meal accordingly
• 4-pack of 10g tubes

On feeding amounts. Catit's own guidance is up to three tubes a day depending on your cat's size and diet, with the main meal reduced to match — but no calorie figure is published for a single tube, so reducing accordingly is a judgement call rather than a precise swap. At 85.5% moisture this is closer to a wet snack than a dry treat, which matters if your cat already gets most of its food wet.

Who it's for: owners who want a lickable, mess-free treat for a cat that prefers wet textures — or who need an easy way to give medicine hidden in something a fussy cat will actually finish.
